Studio
About Brandgrowthstudio
Brandgrowthstudio is a Singapore marketing advisory studio founded in 2026. We work with directors and founders of mid-sized organisations who need a written recommendation on demand, positioning or a demand programme. The studio is organised around that work. There is no public team page, because the advice is meant to stand without a set of biographies.
What we are
A consultative studio, organised around written advice
We are hired to diagnose what is happening to demand and to recommend one next step with its costs. That is the whole product. Creative production, media buying and the day-to-day running of a marketing team sit with other firms or with your own people. We stay with the argument long enough to write it, and, if you commission standing advisory, long enough to revisit it when the facts move.
The studio is based at 138 Market Street in Singapore and works in English. Sessions happen here, on video, or at your office when the conversation is better in person. We founded the practice in 2026 because we wanted a room where a director could bring a budget decision and leave with a document, rather than with a new calendar of activity. That purpose has not expanded. When a request would turn us into an execution shop, we decline and we say why.
Where we work
Singapore, with a regional field of view
Most of the organisations we advise keep a commercial centre in Singapore and sell into one or more Southeast Asian markets. That pattern matters. Messages that work here often need different proof next door. Channel partners ask different questions. Capacity in sales and delivery is usually tighter than a regional slide suggests. We are set up for that kind of work. We are not set up to advise on a market we have not studied, and we will say so if your centre of gravity sits entirely elsewhere.
Saturday sessions are possible by appointment when diaries collide across time zones. Sundays the studio is closed. The working week is Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Singapore time. Email is read during those hours.
Sectors
The kinds of organisations we are set up for
We work with mid-sized firms in business services, software, education, healthcare services and industrial distribution. Directors in those sectors tend to be close to the commercial numbers and still responsible for how the company is described in public. That is the reader we write for. The sectors also share a habit of looking like marketing problems when the binding constraint is pricing, delivery capacity or a partner conflict. Our method is built to notice that split.
We are usually a poor fit for very early ventures with no revenue pattern, and for large enterprises that already have a full in-house strategy team. We will tell you on the first call if that is the case. There is no advantage in stretching our format over a problem it cannot hold.
How we are organised
A small studio with a fixed way of working
Brandgrowthstudio is deliberately small. The same people who take the first call also write the recommendation. We do not hand a discovery note to a separate delivery team you will never meet. When specialist production is needed, you hire those specialists directly; we help with the brief. That arrangement keeps incentives simple. We are paid for the advice, and only for the advice.
We do not publish staff names, portraits or job titles. The document has to stand if a different colleague walks you through it, and it has to stand if you reread it six months later without us in the room. Personality is a weak substitute for an argument. If you need a named relationship as part of the service, you may prefer a larger advisory firm. We will not be offended by that preference.
The studio is the method, the writing, and the willingness to stop when marketing is the wrong lever.
Choosing work
How we decide what to take
We take work when there is a real decision, a person who can make it, and a chance that a written recommendation will change what happens next. We decline when the request is for execution dressed as strategy, when the timeline cannot hold the evidence, or when we cannot stand behind a view of the market. Declining keeps the four formats honest. It also keeps the first conversation useful even when we never send a proposal.
If you are deciding whether to write to us, the useful test is simple. Can you describe, in a few sentences, what has changed in demand and when you need to take a decision. If you can, we have enough to start. If you cannot, the unpaid call is still the right place to find out whether the blur is a marketing problem.
Visit or write
The studio is at 138 Market Street, #26-01, CapitaGreen, Singapore 048946. Please make an appointment before visiting. The first conversation can also be held on video. Either way, it lasts ninety minutes and there is no charge.
